Turning a dense study journey into a guided path.
Vereda is a guided study app for Spiritist doctrine. The product challenge was not to add more information. It was to help a learner know where to begin, what to do next and how to keep going without losing depth or continuity.
THE PRODUCT PROBLEM
Rich content can still leave a learner without direction.
A large body of interconnected material can create its own friction: where to start, what belongs together, how much to do at once and how to return after a break. For a less digitally confident reader, the interface itself can become another layer of complexity.
THE TAYUA RESPONSE
Guide the journey, not the conclusion.
Vereda turns study into a sequence of manageable actions while preserving space for reading, reflection and personal interpretation. The product should make the path clearer without doing the thinking for the learner.
KEY PRODUCT DECISIONS
Four choices shaped the experience.
Make the next step obvious
The experience is organized as a guided path so the learner does not have to reconstruct the study sequence alone.
Protect continuity
Progress, notes and reflections stay connected so returning to study feels like continuing — not restarting.
Design for calm
Editorial hierarchy, restrained interaction and accessible reading patterns reduce unnecessary cognitive load.
Keep depth without dumping complexity
The product guides access to a rich body of knowledge without pretending that the material itself is simple.
WHAT SHIPPED
A public guided-study experience built around continuity.
The lesson
Clarity is not removing depth. It is designing the path so the next meaningful action becomes easier to see.
